WYO Sports Ranch Basketball Academy is one tier in the WYO Sports Ranch Youth Basketball Program that brings year-round basketball opportunities to our youth.

This tier focuses on the “Homestead” of development in the wild, wild West. It is a skill-based developmental program focused on fundamentals and confidence building for young players on and off the court. It includes year-round opportunities to learn and play through camps, clinics, sports performance training, pre-season training events, and local league play.Â

Get ready to hit the court this season with the WYO Sports Ranch Fast Break Basketball League! Designed for 3rd-8th grade boys and girls, our program runs Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. This league emphasizes a fast-paced style of play that helps athletes build confidence and improve their overall basketball IQ. Each session will include – skill development, passing, defense, shooting. It will also include decision making, cutting and spacing. Our entire focus is to help athletes read and react at game speed. Each athlete will have the opportunity to compete amongst their peers with similar skillset. In this league, there is room for progression in real time. Whether the athlete is building a foundation or looking to improve their skillset, the WYO Sports Ranch Fast Break League will provide the instruction, competition and opportunity to develop.

Basketball is different at WSR. Coach RayQuan Evans is offering small group/team sessions. This is the perfect opportunity to learn from a Division I athlete about all things basketball. The workouts will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These workouts provide the skills, strength, and mindset needed to excel both on and off the court. Workouts are designed for athletes 5th-12th.
Sessions will include ✅ Ball-handling ✅ Finishing ✅ Shooting ✅ Passing ✅ Playmaking/IQ
📅 Schedule: Based on Availability (see session sign-up) | 50 minute sessions – 6:00pm – 6:50pm (Grades 5th – 8th) 7:00pm – 7:50pm (Grades 9th – 12th) 8:00 – 8:50pm (Team Workouts) 💲Cost: $30 per individual or $200 per team. Get signed up today, spots fill up fast!

The Wyoming Basketball Summit is designed to bring together coaches, club directors, recreation leaders, school administrators, officials, parents, college representatives, and community partners to begin building a shared vision for basketball across Wyoming. This is not intended to be a one-day event—it is the beginning of a statewide movement focused on creating a better basketball experience for every young athlete. Desired Outcomes • Establish a shared purpose for youth basketball in Wyoming. • Identify the greatest opportunities and challenges facing the game. • Begin defining statewide priorities for player and coach development. • Build stronger relationships among basketball organizations. • Launch an ongoing collaborative leadership network led by WYBA and supported by WYO Sports Ranch.
