Summer skills camps

To kick off the start of the year-round Academy program, we’re hosting a Summer Skills Camp for boys and girls! This camp will focus on the fundamentals of basketball and takes place Monday – Thursday for two weeks.

WYO Sports Ranch Basketball Academy is a newly formed youth basketball program that is determined to bring year-round basketball-related opportunities to the youth residing in and around Casper, Wyoming.

WYO Sports Ranch Basketball Academy will empower basketball players of all levels to chase their max potential through a unified basketball trail, from grassroots development to national showdowns. We will value grit and courage as much as talent, while building trust and a lifelong love for the game. Through Cowboy Ethics, we will blaze toward excellence and value each step of the journey.
Mission:
WYO Sports Ranch Basketball Academy’s mission is to develop well-rounded basketball players by providing progressive and comprehensive basketball experiences at every stage:
  • The Local Homestead Developmental Program is a skill-based developmental program focused on fundamental skills and confidence building for young players on and off the court.
  • The Regional Settlement Competitive Program provides advanced training and competitive opportunities that challenge players to grow, both on and off the court, while emphasizing discipline, sportsmanship, and leadership.
  • The National Frontier Club Program will cultivate elite basketball players through high-level exposure, national competition, and a commitment to excellence, preparing them for post-high school opportunities.

What is the Breakfast Club?
The WYO Sports Ranch Academy’s Basketball Breakfast Club offers 7th–12th grade players a unique chance to elevate their game while the rest of the world sleeps. Designed for dedicated players, this early morning program focuses on refining go-to moves, developing counter moves, building shooting rhythm and other in season adjustments in a high-energy, competitive environment. Whether athletes are sharpening skills or connecting with like-minded peers, the Breakfast Club encourages commitment, consistency, and a relentless work ethic. It’s not just about getting better—it’s about doing what others won’t. The Breakfast Club is where competitors rise early, grind hard, and separate themselves from the pack.
What is Noon Hoops?
The WYO Sports Ranch Basketball Academy’s Noon Hoops is an exciting midday opportunity for 3rd–8th grade boys and girls to develop their game in a fun, structured environment. Each session kicks off with a dynamic warm-up, followed by quick skill work and team drills designed to enhance basketball IQ. Athletes will be grouped by age and skill level to ensure balanced competition and focused instruction. Both half-court and full-court controlled action are incorporated daily, giving players the chance to apply what they’ve learned in real-game scenarios. Noon Hoops delivers high-quality, consistent development in a fast-paced and engaging format.
