Danny Devivo

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Central Methodist University, where he also competed as a collegiate football player. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a certified personal trainer through ISSA, in addition to being First Aid/CPR/AED certified. Daniel’s passion for strength and conditioning originated in high school, where he was a varsity athlete in football, wrestling, and track and field. He possesses a broad expertise in strength training, conditioning, speed, and agility development. 

Daniel has previously served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Georgia Tech, the University of Oregon, and the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!), where he designed and implemented training programs for both male and female athletes, many of whom have gone on to achieve professional status, including in the NFL. Additionally, he has worked as a Sports Performance Coach at Sanford Power in Bismarck, ND, where he developed training programs for athletes ranging from elementary to collegiate levels.  Most recently, as a personal trainer with Lifetime, Daniel has trained many local athletes in preparation for high school and collegiate athletics. Daniel & his wife Rachel are proud new parents to Lucy Grace and are excited to see her in the Sports Performance Center in the near future.

I have been an athlete for as long as I can remember, immersing myself in a variety of sports throughout my life. From volleyball and basketball to soccer, softball (both fast and slow pitch), and gymnastics, each experience has shaped who I am today.  

In 2011, I discovered CrossFit, and it was a turning point in my athletic journey. The intensity and camaraderie of the CrossFit community resonated with me deeply. However, in 2016, an illness took me out of the competitive world I had known. Instead of letting this setback define me, I decided to channel my passion for fitness into coaching while earning numerous certifications along the way. I’ve dedicated thousands of hours to hands-on group coaching, working with hundreds of athletes. My specialty is technique, consistency and control. I’ve mastered modifications and scaling for any level of ability allowing me the opportunity to work with anyone anywhere in their fitness journey. Joining the WYO Sports Ranch Team allows me to focus on youth development, where I strive to build the foundational skills necessary for young athletes to become phenomenal in their chosen sports. 

This is my life’s work—my whole heart’s passion. I love what I do, and I am committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation of athletes. Coaching isn’t just a job for me; it’s a calling that I embrace wholeheartedly.

With four years of experience in personal training, both in group fitness and one-on-one sessions, I am passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential through strength training and movement. My focus is on helping young female athletes and women who want to stay strong, active, and healthy throughout various stages of life.

I specialize in creating customized workout plans that foster confidence, build resilience, and promote lifelong fitness.
