Whether you’re just getting started, looking to take your game to the next level, or ready to compete against top competition, the WSR Basketball Academy offers opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
Homestead is where an athlete’s journey begins. These opportunities are designed around individual skill development, confidence, fundamentals, and a genuine love for basketball. Camps, clinics, workouts, trainings, and leagues give athletes opportunities to learn in a positive, developmental environment without requiring the commitment of a travel team. Homestead is intentionally grassroots and local, giving athletes a place to discover their potential and build the skills necessary for their next step. Whether an athlete is picking up a ball for the first time or looking to sharpen a specific skill, Homestead provides a pathway to learn the game, love the game, and grow the game.
Academy Camps provide high-energy, focused opportunities for athletes to develop fundamental skills, build confidence, and have fun playing the game.
Academy Clinics provide targeted instruction and focused repetitions around specific skills, techniques, positions, or aspects of the game.
Academy Workouts give athletes focused repetitions and structured opportunities to improve individual skills through purposeful practice.
Academy Trainings provide structured, progressive skill development designed to help athletes build a stronger and more complete foundation in their sport.
Academy Leagues give athletes an opportunity to develop their skills in a fun, competitive, and local game environment.
Club is designed for athletes ready to take the next step from individual development into team-based competition. Club athletes learn how to practice, communicate, compete, and contribute as part of a team. The pathway includes entry-level Homestead Teams, Club Teams, and in some cases Select Teams, allowing athletes to find the appropriate level of commitment and competition. Club Teams primarily practice and compete at WYO Sports Ranch, while the Select Teams travel and compete throughout the region. Club is about more than winning games—it is about learning how to be a great teammate, competing with purpose, and growing together.
At this time, WYO Sports Ranch does not offer basketball Club teams. However, we host a series of youth basketball tournaments throughout the season.Â
For high school athletes ready to take their game beyond the local level, our Select program provides an opportunity to compete against high-level competition and represent the WYO Sports Ranch on the road. Players develop their skills, basketball IQ, and competitive edge while gaining valuable team and tournament experience.
