WYO Sports Ranch Club Volleyball is one tier in the WYO Sports Ranch Youth Volleyball Program that brings year-round volleyball opportunities to our youth.
The Club Level tier focuses on the “Settlement” of development in the wild, wild West. The WYO Sports Ranch Volleyball Club provides athletes access to a high-quality, competitive program focused on developing volleyball players at all levels.
Our program is comprehensive, athlete centered, and offers a well-organized club experience.
2-year age groups: U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18
The top U14 team will be SELECT (tryout based).
All teams will have a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach. We will only provide the number of teams that we have high quality Head Coach and Assistant Coach pairs for.
If your athlete is not selected for a club team, the Homestead Volleyball League will be offered as another option. The Homestead League is a volleyball league experience that provides development with less of a commitment. Players will have one practice per week, and one competition day per week. More information on Homestead Volleyball League is coming soon.
$100 down payment for Tryout Fee
Regional Travel Team: $580 (includes ~6 volleyball tournaments, coaches, and practice time) Jersey: Newcomers must buy a team jersey for $50Homestead League: Parents can expect to see their athletes practice and play in a more developmental setting. Games can be stopped for corrections or talking points. Equal play for all scrimmages and games.
Club Team: Parents can expect their athletes to be pushed by coaches to be the best volleyball player they can be. 10U and 12U are equal playing time for pool and bracket play – except for top U12 teams (Designated during try-outs, these teams may have the ability to make play time competitive and based off position play). 14U and up will be competitive play during pool and bracket. Select Team: Parents can expect these teams to be as competitive as possible. No play time guarantees for pool or bracket play.The WYO Sports Ranch Volleyball Club will provide youth athletes access to a high-quality program focused on developing volleyball players at all ages and skill levels. We offer top-tier training and a supportive environment for athletes to develop their skills and passion for the sport.
The number of teams per age group will be determined by the number of coaches. We will only be able to accommodate as many teams and we have coaches for.
Yes; however, if your athlete does not make a travel team, she will be offered the internal Prime League as another option to play.
Practices will be held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. First day of practice is dependent on team schedule.
The choice of tournament locations will be made by individual teams and their coaches. The season cost includes registration for ~6 tournaments. WSR itself will be hosting 6 volleyball tournaments next spring, but teams have the flexibility to choose tournaments that best suit their needs.
Yes, you can. This decision is between the coach and the parents of those players. Additional costs will apply for additional tournaments.

Depending on the sport your child is playing, there may be additional equipment costs.
For example, volleyball players will incur additional costs for knee pads, jersey, Spandex and/or athletic leggings, and AAU Membership. If your child is on a team that participates in additional tournaments, you may also be responsible for a prorate share of the additional court time, tournament registration fee, and additional coaches compensation.
WYO Sports Ranch Volleyball Club Select is our elite team designed for highly competitive players. To qualify for a select team, girls must participate in tryouts, where coaches will evaluate their skills and determine the best fit for each athlete.
At this time, Select Club Teams are by invite only. You cannot register your child for a Select Team. Invites for our Select Teams will take place after initial tryouts.
