(CASPER, WY) Jul 10, 2025 –
In the heart of Casper, Wyoming, a groundbreaking nonprofit is redefining what community impact through sports can look like. WYO Sports Ranch, operated by the WYO Complex, isn’t just a place for tournaments—it’s a place for transformation.
During the Wyoming Nonprofit Network’s WyoGives Podcasting Event, WYO Complex Executive Director Luke Gilliam shares how the WYO Sports Ranch has already welcomed over 11,000 youth participants and generated nearly $8 million in community economic impact—all within the first six months of operation.
But the real game-changer? Scholarships.
“Previously, our WyoGives fundraising focused on capital,” says Gilliam. “This year, the building is done. Now it’s about ensuring every child can say ‘yes’ to sports, regardless of financial circumstances.”
That’s why for WyoGives on July 16, WSR is raising funds to provide scholarships for families who might not otherwise afford access to club teams, programs, or strength and conditioning opportunities. The goal is simple: no child left on the sidelines.
Beyond games and practices, the WYO Sports Ranch plays a vital role in supporting the mental and physical health of Wyoming’s youth. From inclusive programming to regional events that bring communities together, this one-of-a-kind facility is committed to helping kids fall in love with activity, movement, and belonging.
On WyoGives Day, you can help WYO Sports Ranch continue saying yes to youth. Your donation will go directly toward scholarships that remove financial barriers for families—making sports truly accessible for all.
